craftsmen. Conceived by industrialist Joseph Stickney, this national historic landmark

Bretton Woods Canopy Tour
Descending more than 1,000 feet of elevation, the tour takes nature lovers and thrill
seekers across a series of treetop zip lines. It is the longest zip line canopy
tour in New England and one of the longest canopy tours in the continental U.S.
High-flying suspension bridges and hiking trails connect the zip lines, and the
tour concludes with the Williwaw Racing Zip, a dual, side-by-side zip line leading
right into the Bretton Woods base area!
NERCA Fall Golf Outing
Take your game to a higher level and enjoy the spectacular grounds of New Hampshire's
Mount Washington Resort. The North East Roofing Contractors Association (NERCA)
would like to invite NRLRC seminar attendees to participate in their golf outing
on Friday, Sept. 14. The 18-hole course was designed by legendary Scottish architect
Donald Ross and was completed in 1915. This par 72, 7004-yard course has stunning
views, bunkers crafted in a classic flair and infinite varieties of recovery shots
in the closely cropped areas around the putting green. All proceeds from the golf
tournament will go directly to the foundation's scholarship fund.
Shopping and Other Activities
Just 45 minutes away from the resort is Settler's Home Green in North Conway. There
are more than 60 factory outlet stores. The original outlet destination resort,
North Conway, is home to Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren, Under Armour,
Banana Republic and many more. Antiques, specialty ski shops, art galleries, craft
shops, boutiques and gourmet food shops abound in North Conway, and all are tax
free! Carriage rides, fly fishing, hiking, horseback riding, indoor and outdoor
